David Levy - Internet Marketing Consultant Profile
David Levy was most recently the Director of Digital Marketing for Sports Authority, the leader in sporting goods retail. In this role, he was responsible for driving the strategic direction of Sports Authority’s interactive marketing efforts to deliver both e-commerce and multi-channel sales.
Prior to joining Sports Authority, Levy directed the corporate marketing and business development at Resolution Media, a leading digital marketing agency. For nearly five years, he was responsible for overseeing its go-to-market and new client acquisition strategy, along with leading key client relationships, including State Farm.
Before Resolution Media, Levy worked at Google on its Account Management team within their Retail vertical. In this position he led the search optimization strategy for clients such as JCPenney, Bose, Hallmark Flowers, Kohl’s, Cabela’s, Crate and Barrel, and Pottery Barn.
Previously, Levy served as an Account Manager for a direct marketing subsidiary of Time Warner called Synapse Group, Inc. While there, he managed relationships with companies like JCPenney, Eddie Bauer, Newport News and Time Life Libraries. He was then recruited to manage a five-state territory in the Midwest for a startup company based just outside of Richmond, VA called EverDrive. In this post, Levy was a Regional Sales Manager and was responsible for building their supply chain in the Midwest.
Levy went to University of Michigan and graduated in December 2001 with a double major in Economics and Psychology.
